We'll know more tomorrow I suspect but I would just put it down to a bit of a reshuffle. Could be a last throw of the dice to get the players performing. Perhaps with Wilson's future unclear, the players weren't sure who they were playing for in the long-term and with Mellon gone any doubt is now removed. Does seem a bit extreme, especially if Mellon was doing a good job and performing well as a coach it is indeed a little strange. Although it was also a little strange that Mellon wasn't removed along with Flicker at the time.

We certainly needed something though so it's probably a good move - let's hope it sparks something. I can't believe that it's a move that signals that the club is resigned to relegation. There's plenty of points to play for and we can't give up now given the amount of games remaining.

Terminating the entire squad is somewhat extreme.

And the same goes for their contracts. Too expensive.

If these departures are purely Danny induced in order to clear the decks for his own methods to be consumed in undilated form by the players, then at least he's showing a set of balls. Or an awareness that he might become unemployable if we end the season points adrift of the rest of the division.

    Either way it sounds right.

Could also be a case of 'too many roosters in one hen hut'.

I think its starting to rebuild, but also cost cutting and getting us ready for relegation

We are going down, there is no way with the injuries, bad signings since Christmas that we can climb out of this.

Danny has had a bad start, things not working out with Mellon, so they may as well give him what he wants.

I would bet on Mansford having a name in mind for next season & I don't think it's Danny. He is only contracted till
the end of the season & I think by then there won't be too many demanding he be retained.

Danny was the crowd pleasing choice. Not because of his record since he left us, which is patchy at best.

Not saying I would agree with another change, but I think it will happen.
