The person who ran on the pitch is a lovely person.

Anyone who condones it is a lovely person.

    Fin.

I don't understand how people think it's funny. That will cost the club in fines and if the ref puts it in his match report it has effects on the cost of policing and stewarding. Then we all moan about club not spending on this and that. maybe getting old or a boring supporter but I want the club to succeed on and off the field and little things like this spoil it. Nothing will get done and I guarantee if we score at the ponty end against Newcastle it'll happen again.

Easy not to get banned stay off the pitch like the other 12k of us do. I thought the bloke was going to cause a riot a load of villa fans ran down to greet him then when he got tackled turned their attention to the family stand.

The bloke is a complete cretin who will cost the club a large fine. There is nothing amusing about it!

    Or engage some common sense.
If like the green man they want to do a 100 yard dash then ban em but if its just over exhubiant celebrations then kick em back in stand.
Heat of the moment and all that.

Re: what was rhat idiot doing running on the pitch

What heat of the moment excitement causes somebody to push past a steward and leap over an advertising board onto the pitch? I get quite giddy when we score, I jump up and cheer and stuff. I have never once had the urge to run to the front of the stand leap over the nature and look a right lovely person trespassing on the pitch

Howling with laughter? No they weren't. That was just you. People, ie. those with any remote shred of intelligence were booing and hurling abuse at the retards who'd gone on the pitch.

'Foooooking Brilliant'? No it wasn't. It was pathetic, selfish behaviour from a few brain-dead morons that should probably be sectioned.

If you enjoy it so much, why not do it yourself? Newcastle at home would be a good one to pick. Run the length of the pitch and goad the away fans, go on. I'd pay serious coin to see the outcome of that.

It seems unlikely that the FA will fine the club for random acts of invasion. Done a little bit of research and it appears an investigation only occurs when there has been serious or significant disorder ( unless the referee considers an act, or acts of invasion as significant and includes it in his report) Examples of this include West Ham v Millwall, Aston Villa v Birmingham and Preston v Blackpool. The FA have to prove that a club has been negligent (policing, stewarding etc) in order to impose a fine. So mass invasions allied with violence generally see the FA impose a fine, as it argues the club failed to stop so many people from entering the playing arena. However if a single 'fan' invades the pitch then it is difficult for the FA to prove the club is negligent. Nonetheless it is an utterly 'bonkers' act especially as the guilty receive bans and fines, which is well recognised.

Re: what was rhat idiot doing running on the pitch

I can sympthise with people who have over celebrated and ended up with the players. Happened all time in the promotion season (I wouldn't do it my self but heat of moment n all that) but running the length of the pitch to get in the away end isn't over celebrating its been a ********. If he wanted to scap he could have done after the game he was full of **** deserves everything he gets.

You seem unable to grasp that it's possible to follow your team with unbridled passion without it spilling over into phuckwittery. As I said, you clearly love the concept so much, we'll all look forward to you gracing the turf at the next home game.

F*** 'em, send the fine through their door. We should get address off them when nicked.

I'm sure there will be no 'heat of the moment' when word gets around you'll be out of pocket a few grand. Stick a few notices up and print it on the tickets.

Well Patrick cryne has stated several times that we get fined for it and that he personally has to pay the LARGE fine because he can't pass it on to the ****** who runs on because they would never pay it anyway

    **** wind up merchant.

When's your next ban coming from encouraging illegal behaviour at football matches? You've had at least one for it so when's the next?
