Not shocked about the pockets. Quite shocked about the erection though. I thought Dirk was popping round to yours of an evening to righten Mrs Rosco's PC due to your floppy disk problem? Or am I thinking about Jay's Mum again? I don't know. What were we talking about again?
Hyundai Coupe. Had 2 now and if you can live with 'badge snobbery' I would highly recommend this car. Both 2000 models ie the version with with twin headlights at front. First 1 = 1.6l - nice looking in metallic blue but a bit underpwoered and now got 2.0 L SE Edition in Silver......Only cost 4.5k last year with 53k on clock. An hairdressers car ok - but in coupe terms cheap to run and buy - and very very reliable as well as a great head turner. Hopefully will get the new model in a couple of years.
Without a doubt it was definitely .. a Mini Clubman 1100.
The ride was like being on a Hovercrsft in a force ten gale and it went like **** off a shovel.
But I was very young

For me it was a ..... Volkswagen Golf Driver Mark II. Very nippy and extremely reliable. I lived in it for two weeks when i first moved to London.
My previous one Renault Megane Coupe 2 litre. Superb acceleration. Although whilst the Seat Ibiza 1.8 FR I have now doesn't look as good, the handling is better and the power is there when required.
Rover 75 Its a beautiful car , we converted it to LPG so it costs bugger all to run, comfy and powerful motoring. (Y) (Y) (Y)
VolksWagon Passatt estate never a problem in 3 years, took a renault laguna on 10 months ago and a bag of *****, just ordering another (Passatt) this week end
Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI Reliable, looked fantastic, quickand went round corners like it was on rails -I miss it to this day ....
Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II. Bought for £19,975 with 17,000 miles on the clock. Sold for £19,500 having driven 78,000 miles. Those were the days, when I had more than a few bob in the bank.
VW Beetle 1300 Bought it when I was 16. Took it round a show-jumping course on my 17th birthday until a bloke in a blue uniform caused me to give away 4 faults and have to go home. Same car got TPTB to hospital for having the kids. Truly wonderful car, sadly missed.
stealthy Saab 9000 Aero with added tweakery, giving 382bhp. Magic for upsetting M3/M5 and scooby owners.
Cars are **** got a fiat brava, cost £1500 on a 2k plate 42k on clock done 9k in 4 months..seems ok
had a few V-DUB campers which are great if ya like getting on the spanners, had some good times in em. but two-wheels is the one for me....................road hogs.......

I've a hyundai coupe 2.0 (there is a new one out now, which I think is MKIII - mine is a 54 plate which I think is MKII). Never had a problem with it (touch wood) although the five year warranty is very reassuring. I think, in time, I'd like to get one of the new ones, but with the baby at six months old I think I'll have to get something more sensible like a VW Golf or something.
I agree with you - never been one for badge snobbery, the car is responsive (you can drive it hard and it will play), enjoyable, full leather interior, cleans up really nicely when I wash it. Not too expensive on the fuel or insurance. Cost me £11k with 10,000 miles on the clock, one year old. Don't know whatmore I could ask for at that money.
