Wolves game

You were at a different game to me. One of the best 1-0s I've ever seen. I thought we were terrific.

What has - how we have been playing got to do with the price of potatoes..........NOWT !!!

You will find that the Negativity has you describe it has NOT been directed at the team, Simon Davey or how we have been playing or indeed the owners of the club
Everything on that score is going great as far as I'm concerned - we have made massive improvements this season which we will see the benefit from next season

The so called finger of negativity has been pointed at the way the club is run, for example....

    1) match programmes. Although I haven't seen one myself recently there has been many on here complaining about that

    2) not been able to get into the ground. Guys jumping over turnstiles because only one turnstile was open for the West Stand Lower

    3) having to pay for match tickets with cash only because the club has not caught up with modern times. People walking round the streets with 100s of pounds on them because the club hasn't got the facilities in place so you can pay by bank card

I agree with most of it , apart from you have seen some of the best football ever seen at Oakwell this season.

We have had one great 90 mins against Wolves , and the odd spell in other games.

The vast majority of it has been turgid stuff , lots of lumping it high and long , when we quite clearly seem to have the players to play a more speedier passing style.

Its a pity we haven't got anyone to put the ball in the net.

I hope your right about beating Hull at home as well , though I am not sure what you are basing this opinion on.

    RE: Or

1st half against Bristol City was awful , then for some reason Gary Johnson sent outhis players and told them not to pass to each other in the 2nd half and they gifted us a couple of goals with some appalling defensive play.

The result at home to Bristol City was fantastic , the performance wasnt up to much.

1st half was emmentley forgettable in that nothing of note happened.

Bristol City then proceeded to play as if they had never seen each other before in the 2nd half and gifted us the game.

    Not in my opinion

The first half was evenly matched, with chances being created at both ends. Barnsley upped the pace in the second half and City had no answer. I think a 3-0 home win over a previously unbeaten team was impressive and Barnsley deserved a great deal of credit. You are giving us none, which (in my opinion) is totally unfair and, quite honestly, wrong.

I think we definitely deserve credit for the victory

Just like we do for the 4-1 victory over Ipswich. But I think the performance against Bristol City has been over egged. I remember thinking at half time that it was a pretty poor game. Obviously, I've no complaints about the result at all, but as far as performances are concerned I think the way we played against Wolves was far superior.

    I agree

Actually, I enjoyed the games against Plymouth & Cardiff far more as football matches, as well. However, I think it's unfair to place our Bristol City victory down to their ineptitude, rather than credit us with raising our game.

Fair enough , but they were truly abysmal in the 2nd half.

    I'd rather put that down

To our play, though. Perhaps I'm just gullible and narrow minded.

the key worrying factor is the team 3rd from bottom already has 44 points

which is more than the 3rd from bottom finished with at the end of the season. Anyone under 50 points could drop into that slot.

Sttrange as it may seem, it is far faster to pay with cash than a credit/debit card. Had to wait 4 minutes in the garage two days ago, for the machine to get a line, and this is not unusual.
