I think many fans were relieved at the amount of new faces we brought in.

Up to that point we were looking very thin on the ground, having lost both centre halves and keeper.

Besides, you can hardly expect people to be unhappy with the signings, we didn't know enough about most of them to judge them in a negative way.

Don't talk rubbish. There were loads of arguments on here during the summer about the inexperience we were signing.

No one knows that answer , but the way the current owner s are operating anyone in ground today could finance the running of club selling players

I think we were too scattergun with our signings in the summer, we've got loads of wingers/attacking midfielders and it makes no difference which ones we play.
Maybe we should have focused on quality over quantity and then we might have a team that picks itself instead of constantly looking for our best team.

I'd rather have these than chancer Chansiri of the sty. Now that is going to go tits up, he can only sell the ground to himself once.

Of course they were... The problems arose when we found out who they had recruited, and we all know how good their recruitment was

Aye, things have been much improved since they sacked Daniel haven't they !! What were they thinking, why are they even involved in our club ?
I've questioned their motives from day one. We're a proud club previously owned and run by Barnsley folk, a home town club run by hometown people, and now this.
We'd all hoped for better, it's going to get much worse when we drop to league 1 and there's only the faithful 5000 turning up. Sad times for us all,

Not really. It was our owners / board who decimated a winning team and replace them with players* that really should be in the development squad.

    * except Moore who they didn't bother replacing.

Selling players is part of the game, we accept that but give us a fighting chance in the championship with their replacements. Also it might be helpful if they listened to the manager who got us promoted and gave him the tools to do the job.

Finally don't alienate the fan base by issuing a disgraceful twenty one word statement when you sack the manager / head coach.

Correct.. Anyone could sit there, sell players and not use any of their own money.

So tell me why anyone would need these carpetbaggers
