He's not even in the picture Metatarsal. He's a professional footballer, he's got to get back. Home game, He's backed off so much he bumps into James. He didn't do that to Kpekawa in the first game.
Will have to agree to disagree here. I'd like to see the whole Brighton move again. When they played the long diagonal ball to Knockaert, Yiadom was on the byeline, even Usain Bolt would have struggled to get back with the speed of their counter attack. There were 6 defenders back, including Watkins (who's not to blame either), against 3 attackers, even 7 v 4 before they got the ball in our box. Taking my red blinkers off, it's a class goal from start to finish. Knockaert caused problems against virtually every defence all, season long, I think it's harsh to single out Yiadom here. As much as it's harsh of me to single out, about 50s in, Kpekawa being turned inside out by Knockaert. It's football, it happens.
Freyers was pretty poor when I saw him play. But that was once it doesn't mean he will be poor for us. Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fans Forum
Oh for god's sake. Why do you take such issue with any player that more than 4 people have nominated for POTY, other than yourself? Please don't talk about your eye, or realism. You can't enjoy yourself at a Barnsley match, given your endless criticism on here, surely not. It's not possible, unless, as suggested many times, you're just an arsehole WUM. I'm gonna call it again - my nomination for Hemsworth dislike next year is McGeehan. If he doesn't break into the team, then it's Moncur. Basically whichever midfielder scores a few and impresses people by the end of September/October. But I'm going with McGeehan to start with. Can we get a poll going?
If you didn't notice, the same player did that to most defences all season long. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I was at Brighton away as well, but we didn't lose because Yiadom was rubbish. Brighton were too good, hence them now being in the premier league. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Why would having Mccarthy and Isgrove together be a massive advantage? Yiadom was our best full back last season and that's why there's premier league interest.
Why on earth do we need another six ? We definatley need a couple of strikers & maybe a winger but surely there is enough strength at the back & in midfield .
Because they know each other. Quite obvious to me. We've a lot of gelling to do before August but there are some that can fit together already
To be fair, I can think of a few other posters who are capable of posting some very good stuff, but more often than not it gets lost in a sea of drivel/ repetitive complaints / posts which everyone knows the content of before they even open then.
It's a dead argument I imagine - I can't see Yiadom still being here come August. Though if he is, he plays. If the best stick to hit him with is that he was outplayed by Anthony Knockaert, the best player in the league by a mile (and officially awarded the championship player of the year) - in Yiadom's first season playing above league two - then i'd say he did ok. It's laughable anyway - as soon as he signs for a premier league club, a certain person in West Yorkshire will believe him to be the new Cafu. As for the 1st eleven - the signings aren't finished yet. There will be forward(s) to come in, we'll use the full amount of loans you're allowed I would imagine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Having not seen half the squad play, and knowing full well we're going to be signing at least two strikers before August? I'm definitely a bit wary of next season, especially as to how quickly the defense will settle following Roberts' departure. But saying you can "only see relegation" is daft. Honestly James, I reckon that if you came home one night to find Natalie Imbruglia naked in your bed, your first thought would be "she's probably going to transfer me chlamydia".
Well I for one would take the risk! A couple of weeks on antibiotics to have that in the old w**k bank? Done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
