    I hope he scores 20.

Or sets up 20. But we both know he won't.

What he will do is run around a lot, flatter to deceive, and come 2nd in Player of the Season behind Nardiello, who died sometime in December.

I thought we gave Tom Baker a free!?

anyway, what would I do without my little old (St)Christopher to make the game interesting?

    you are my sunshine
    my only sunshine
    you make me happy
    when skies are grey
    you'll never notice
    how much I think you're s***
Cos there's too many idiots chanting your name here today

na na na na naaaaa na na na na naaaaa

hmmm, I might have a problem with syllables on this one.

Did Nads die cos ppl like you were telling him to run around!!??

flogging our erstwhile thoroughbred to death, you should be ashamed!!

Let's not fall out. Just you agree with me that if we give Nads the ball in the box, he'll score. If he's made to run about in a team already containing McP (and Shuker) we're f***ed.

    F***ed it is, then.

I agree , we give Nardiello the ball near the area ,

I think he will be able to beat the defender and get a shot in 60% of the time.

    He's a good goalscorer.

I'll just be genuinely impressed (no, make that surprised) if he lasts the season.

What is following the Reds if not the hope of being pleasantly surprised??

ok then. 4-1 tomorrow, Nads hatrick, Shuker to bag one and set 2 up. Del Monte laughing all way back to London.

    Good luck.

    I'm going for a totally optimism-deflating 0-0. Hope I'm wrong.

    sorry, I'd already bagged that...

see above when I refer to Shuker's MOTM in scoreless draw.

I will also laugh my back off if I'm right on that one too. Even more so if he's played the same way as usual (and we're not live on telly, so I shouldn't think he will be any different)

    have a good un.

Barnsley dominate for 20 minutes with Hayes scoring a blinding goal from 35 yards and lives on that one goal for the rest of the season.

After scoring one goal we think we have won the game and go to sleep.

With 43 minutes gone Kay plays a woeful back pass which goes wide for a corner and Swindon bring up their 7 foot 2 central defenders for the corner, which we give Shuker to mark. We bring all 10 men into the box leaving no-one to capitalise on any break. the ball goes loose and their midfield general bangs a ball which richochets around the area and after some comical goal line scramble the ball ends up in the net just as the ref. blows for half time.

Second half we are under the cosh but we resolutely defend our 0 goal lead to secure the point. Despite some glaringly obvious holes in the Swindon defence Ritch Tea does **** all about it until the 87th minute when he brings Nardiello on. Nardiello hits the woodwork in extra time, and from the rebound Swindon go up the other end to win.

No. That couldn't happen again could it????
