Does what we have been missing breaks up play then an easy pass, I thought Colace passing was a lot better today seems to be improving every game could be the new coaching.

    Amazing thread

How people's opinions of one player can be so diverse! Maybe most of the critical ones didn't see his West Brom performance.

For what it's worth, I've been impressed so far. Puts himself about, works hard, gets a foot in, breaks up play.

    RE: undecided

seems ok, works hard can tackle and puts himself about, ***** on the ball and his passing is no better than colace, also looked shady at right back against qpr he got raped, like jay said over the course of his 3 month loan and judge him at the end, he is probably the player on loan we have most chance of signing but i dont think hes better than colace personally

Adds bite to midfield, kind of player we need right now........

All three of Robins Loanees have made instant impact..... the fullbacks especially. Shotton has been outstanding, Doyle bosses the midfield and after a steady start I feel Dickinson looked solid on saturday and put in some good crosses.

Also a rare prise from me for Darren Moore yesterday, thought he did very well. Weak link at the back seems to be Foster at the moment. Not for his effort, but lack of communication with team a mates, leading to mistakes that nearly cost us.

I just can't understand how praise for Moore can be "rare". He is an outstanding centre back.

Agreed about big daz, he may not be the best footballer but he's the best defender at the club without a shadow. Doe's everything you want your centre half to do, tackles hard, rarely looses a header, organises, communicates and reads the game well. We all know he can't pass wind and has never been the quickest which is why he's never really cut it at in the prem, but for this league he's ideal and his record and 'adoration' from his previous clubs is testimony to it!

As for Doyle, doe's the dirty things well, presses the ball but a bit similar to Colace for me and from what I've seen of Freddy at Derby and Yest he's a class above them both. At home, I'd rather us play 1 of them with someone with a bit more quality on the ball in there but away and depending on whose available I'm not totally averse from them both playing.
