Did we actually pay money for him? I'd forgotten all about him. If we ever re coup anything near the 800k we shelled out for Anderson I'll be shocked but hopefully he will come good.

 

I get the club’s position, and also the player’s position tbf.

They are surplus to requirements.

They didn’t move, as the club no doubt wanted a fee and to retain an interest. Going for free in Summer means they can get a better wage.

The club now have to pay these players because they refused to go and will be annoyed by it.

Cavare just isn’t consistent - even less so at this level.

Thiam just hasn’t the confidence/self-belief (we saw in part last season what he can do when confident).

Pinnilos had the eye injury which kept him out. Tbf Stendel didn’t play him either. He’s a solid defender, but does lack a little pace. Still, I would have given him a shot. But I do think Odour is the future at LB.

We’ve know for months about these players, and the players knew the situation if they stayed.

 

The club cannot bemoan a lack of loyalty from players wishing to leave during their contract like keiffer Moore who has been bad mouthed for it and yet at the same time start belittling players when the club decides it doesn't want to afford them any loyalty and wants to cash in instead
