Agree about red all over.. seem a bit up the clubs ar5e to me. A bit too nicey nice. Dint agree with everyone on Tykestv but always admired their honesty. But there's some in and around the club that hate any criticism of any kind and the Ttv lads used to ruffle a few feathers.. Shame.. proper fans who spoke from the heart.
Surely not it was obvious there was nothing racial in that. Be just his young family and I imagine it takes up alot of time doing that sort of thing working aswell he's done well to keep it up for 4 years. Like said they all just said what they thought right untill the very last video here. Ruffled a few feathers, didn't arse lick the club or owners just said it how they saw it. Seems like a nice kid though saw him outside the ponty before the blackburn game.
Agree I did prefer Tykes TV as they just talked about the club and the games. Red all over whilst good is a little too safe usually spend a lot of time talking about in jokes about one of them being on talk sport etc rather than just talking about the current topic/issues but it’s more than likely going to become the no 1 YouTube show now so hopefully it will grow and develop.
I've spoke to Luke briefly a couple of times and seems a lovely honest guy. Shame it stopped but you can understand why. People don't realise the hard work simply editing a video never mind finding something interesting to say - and on top of that the day out of the house, and the cost for long away days.
Couldn't disagree more. Craig shows more insight that most fans and usually calls it right. Luke is a bit more passionate but tells it as it is.
Interesting comments about them being pushed aside over the playoff semi-final. Also hints at disliking the direction of the club, and the lack of support for Schopp in replacing key positions. That seems to have been a feature with three of the last four head coaches. It's not easy to feel connection with the club under this regime in my opinion.
I haven't felt a connection to the club since 2002. I thought the end of the Dennis era signalled a massive decline. Not just in fortunes but in attitudes towards the club. Until then we were ex Premier League or referred to as Championship. The club is a lot more low key now. That was one of the things I hoped would change after Cryne sold up. I reckon he played on the being downtrodden feeling too much as a result it's stuck and fans settle a lot more for what they are getting. In a way the stick Schopp is getting is quite refreshing because it signals to me that they aren't taking as much 5hit.
I always felt a connection when cryne was here I understood he was a rich man compared to me but in football owners terms he was relatively average compared to most others, he was one of us and trying his best. He brought in the policy of young players and put his own cash in to back it like he subsidised the accademy year on year. And without that policy I don't think the club would be where it is now. As for the new owners I don't have a connection what so ever and as much as a terrible job I belive schopp is doing the ones pulling the strings above arent covering themselves in glory. Apart from kitchin who I think we have brought in as heliks replacement long term and possibly benson I'm not convinced by any signings.
I hope so, I've missed Tykes TV and even more the way things are going at Oakwell on and off the field.
