Whats Micheal Vaughan on about

You are failing to understand that Vaughan is paid in his role in the media to make these comments. He's not paid by England to go and coach their players, Gooch is. Its the same for Boycott, who you have slaughtered on another thread.

These people have played cricket at the top level and it doesnt matter what era, they have been the top of the tree. Vaughan was number one rated batsmen in the world. He's allowed to pass judgement on players, he's earned that right and now he is paid handsomely for doing so. He's not my cup of tea, neither is Strauss when it comes to my enjoyment of the game but I will definitely allow them to make comment on something that they are far more qualified to talk about.

Just because they don't like the way something is done doesnt mean that they should go and fix it. I go to tescos every day and see someone stacking shelves poorly, I don't go up and coach them how to do it better, I leave that to the people that are paid to do the job.

 

Sorry but he could do like warne. Hes not paid by cricket Australia but he will still tell the players what he thinks.
