We waited anxiously for news of a striker all through the summer. Time after time a signing was announced and still no striker. The McBurney move fell through through no fault of Barnsley FC. That meant we were stuck with the squad we had until January. We all knew we would struggle. I don't think the squad's been settled since the takeover was announced, by the press, not the club. We're still out of the drop zone.
