benitez would say we are a worse team without HOWARD. FACT!!! and so would i. relegation fodder, we are dropping like stones while everybody else gains momentum!! this is a plea to the sons of the welsh one to ask him to resign and step aside. walk away sd, bye bye, cheerio.
losing howards goals and hume and his goals will criple a club like ours.the constant injuries to first team players and having a thin squad.means squeaky bum time again
RE: Whats the cause of the recent slump in form? letting HOWARD go!! Howard started the season without, influential players, Da Silva, JCR or Muller (although Steele is an adequate replacement) because of injury. Also Moore ,El Haimour and Hume needed to settle in to a new team. We received no hammerings whilst Howard was here but I can recall a shocking 45 mins against Cardiff. Davey said " We will go with what we`ve got" at the beginning of the season despite strength in depth. Now again a paper thin squad is put under pressure and Anderson seems like the player to take the flak this time. We have a decent team when everything is in our favour i.e. no injuries or suspensions, but it is a squad we require not makeshift everyones a utility player crap. 4 4 2 Simon wins us points, diamond makes you look like a plank.
RE: quite simply "the Welsh Chap" How was the day out at Wembley? How were the bragging rights after Liverpool? How were the bragging rights after Chelsea? How was the relief in staying in the second tier for 2 seasons when everyone and his dog had us to be instantly relegated? Sod all to do with the Welsh Chap that Baz.
Bad management I think the question should be 'what was the cause of the short period of good results in the middle of 12 months of bad ones?'
RE: quite simply "the Welsh Chap" well put that man( I cant remember Has any one been injured this season oh I hume gorra bump on head dint he) mek me laugh this lot.
OH FFS......here we go again.... HOWARD DID NOT WANNA PLAY FOR US. END OF!!
The form went up when he fecked off
He wanted to go. Get over it

That's the daftest thing I've heard ............ .......... you can't blame the fans for the poor results. Whilst I agree that a bit of encouragement is a help rather than an hinderence, singing a few songs doesn't turn Oddjob into Torres or stop the defence letting in stupid goals!
Injuries And corresponding lack of replacements. When everybody is fit and motivated the team is good enough. Why they are not fit I don't know, but I suspect there may be reasons why they are not motivated which have been well documented elsewhere in this thread and others.
The 'day out' at Wembley was **** - we lost ........ ......... and missed our best (and probably only ever) chance of reaching the FA Cup Final and of winning the FA Cup, I'm glad you enjoyed that, because I didn't. 'Day out' - that says it all, thanks for the 'day out' Simon
RE: Injuries Why is there a lack of replacements? Davey has had over two years to add depth to the squad and injuries are part and parcel of football We haven't been any more unlucky than any other team
so are we to live on History then, and forget all about the poor quality we are Seems like Papering over the cracks to me.Oh and of course its "the Welsh Chap" who else picks the team/decides tactics/formation/substtutions/which player to get in/training techniques..... I reckon thats "the Welsh Chap".But if there is a mystery man who decides all that could we be told then he can take his share of the blame too. But until such time as this Mystery man is revealed I will blame "the Welsh Chap"
