Eh???

I dont think i know of any people who'd praise anything that does'nt produce the goods. If the 'Happy Clappers' want to stick with the inept performances & tactics we are been served up then thats their own choice.

But ive been saying it for the last 2 years Simon Davey has'nt got a fecking clue and until he's given the boot or improves 500% im afraid im going to continue been a critical fan who's fault it is that we are *****.

In my opinion Souza has not looked self-assured for ages. He's been lacking a yard of pace and his confidence has been gradually ebbing away.

One quality we also had which builds confidence is that Muller was outstanding last year, both in saving our skins on numerous occasions, but he also had "control" and direction over the defence. He seems less commanding this term and frequent changes within the back four have effected it as a unit.

Midfield wise, Anderson is definitely not at the races, particularly within the mix and match policies we have had to employ. We have missed Devaney who was hitting a rich vein of form, swapping wings with JCR throughout the 90 minutes when results were coming.

Macken needs hungry individuals around him. He's worked at the top level in the Championship and made it higher with hard working, skilful lads. Macken is no Prima-Donna, but he must be missing some of the impetus and determination to make-it-happen himself when, around you - things don't appear to be the case.

Players win matches, not bosses. Obviously, I'm sparing SD of any criticism. At times, I've been buzzing at the football the Reds have played. If he's responsible for the bad, he's also responsible for the good too. With a fit or almost fit squad, we will turn the corner.

Is it just me or has Dennis put weight on recently.

Agree Muller isn`t the same keeper that he was before injury. I think the transfer window backs that up. We were resigned to losing him in January.

RE: OH FFS......here we go again....

Maybe the players who are playing now need to stand up and be counted

Howard left in SEPTEMBER. We are now in FEBRUARY!! Over 4 months by my reckoning

So what was the excuse at the end of last season and beginning of this when Howard "turned up" for us?

Too many injuries to key players, individual mistakes by CB's and poor quality strikers who have wasted chances. Hopefully they have all changed now so we can get back to winning. Get Fozzy back in at CB, the new lads in the team and Colace and Boggy back and we look a decent squad for once.

My eyes work fine so you dont need to put things in capitals.

So your answer now is that players in the plural need to stand up and be counted but the end of last season and the beginning of this season is solely down to one man BH.

There's still sixteen games to go - eight at home

Why not go to a home game and put some money into the coffers for your club

    The squad has no depth

Meaning we are fecked when we get an injury or susepension, and the players no they have a secure place in the squad because there is nobody to replace them, so maybe they ease off the gas a little. Now we have 4 new signings, and a few players coming back, we have both competition for places and a bit of backup to cater for injuries. Inevitably i think our form will pick up again, especially our home form which has dipped a little of late.

No my point was that people are blaming our current loss of form because we got rid of Howard 4 months ago. So i was saying whats the excuse when he was with us at the end of last and beginning of this?

I just cant understand why people still think the sun shines out of his backside. He asked to leave - he went. People keep saying that Davey is still in his his job because of the cup wins. Well sorry but Howard is the same cos of "that goal". Not pulling up any trees down at Bumhole Lane is he??

Last season Souza had Nyatanga at the side of him they looked a decent pairing with a good understanding of each other, I think Moore and Souza are too alike both will want to mark the target man, leaving one of them in an uncomfortable position of making the quick striker. For me its the full backs that let us down, Foster when fit is the best right back we have when not at center back, the rest are just not the quality we require to be a mid table team.

RE: OH FFS......here we go again....

If you read my original post it was in reply to Ossetred who says our poor early season form is down to BH.

I was giving reasons as to why BH wasn`t responsible we had injuries to key players at the start of the season like we have had this last month.

    Anyway read again.

Your probably right, if we had a larger squad at the start of the season he could have dropped Howard until he moved. Or maybe if Howard had seen better quality players come into the squad he may not have wanted to move anyway. But which ever way you look at it Howard was involved in the poor form.

Things never get put where you want them. JCR for instance.

Osset I agree he was part of poor form but not the sole reason for it.
