    Arsenal 3-2 Man Utd

    Was "supporting" MU, Arsenal were 2-0 up so we went out to play in garden having lost interest. Mum call us in, it's back to 2-2. Sat down, 3-2 Gooners.

    I didn't Gerry Young the wing half miss kicked the ball to let an Everton reserve called Mike Treblecock in to scorce his 2nd goal of the game. Young Mike played for Everton reserves at Oakwell at the start of the next season.

    I can still see that goal in my mind's eye...

    ...long punt down the middle, Gerry Young goes to trap it and it squeezes under his foot, Trebilcock onto it like a flash, runs on and slots it under Ron Springett cool as you like.
