    Maybe I was absorbed in the delightful company or something!!

    If it's the night I went, I do remember a "late arrival" hoovering up, but not a waiter. :D

    I've been a couple of times

    Had no problem with the service, but the food was very bland. I don't mean not spicy enough, just tasteless.

    Just remembered

    Been 3 times, all which went wrong.

    First time was the hoovering demonstration already described.

    Second time I got caught up in a net.

    Third time I went with a bloke from Coventry and a mutual female friend. Turned out the female knew the bloke and in fact was an "old flame". They proceeded to gaze nostigically into each other's eyes and mutter "do you remember when...?", do you recall that time...?" etc etc. I ended up sitting with the people on the next table.

    For a minute then I was thinking that I must have done something really crazy like got wrecked & not remember a night with waiters hoovering ... what a relief to know that I was sober all along.

    Remember the other 2 occasions as well .... hey I've not lost my marbles yet ...... (dancin)

    I think I'd describe Mr Ali

    as having more a Dyson effect than a Hoover when arriving late at a curry house.

    Plenty of suction but no bag :)

    He has qualities similar to those of black holes

    But only when applied to food. Any loose food lying around is instantly drawn in to an insatiable cavity, leaving plates spotlessly clean. He would be brilliant as a turmeric stain remover.

    Thats why he never gets post curry stained fingers.
