Once went to Spalding v Mexborough Town in the Northern Counties East League. It was 0-0 with about five mins to go, when Carl Shutt, who was no youth even then lashed this shot in from about 40 yards. Signed by Howard Wilkinson for Wednesday, and became their top scorer.

Artie I was also at that Aberdeen/Skonto Riga game. Didn't Skonto go on to win it? 1-0 I think. :)

Been to more games not involving the Reds then with. That just goes with my job and residence.
One that sticks in the mind was Yeeds v Man Utd. The game that Beckham was famously dropped for. Was sat in Geldard end with thousands of rabid yeeds fans, some of them ripping anything to do with Man U out of their programmes. This was about midday and most of them were as pissed as *******s. Andy Cole won the game with a sublime chip straight towards me. I had to pretend to be very upset, even though I couldn't give a *****.
Was also at Swillsbro when Everton won the league in the early eighties, very nice.

I can't remember Ian to be honest. I do remember Pittodrie being the coldest ground I have ever sat in, mind!

I saw Alloa vs Fort William in 1997, whilst on a skiing holiday up there (Ben Nevis). Twas a friendly. I was 15. It was 3-0 Alloa.

Been to loads not featuring the Reds, but here are the ones that stick out.

Me and a mate have done two double headers in recent years to strike grounds off that we haven't previously been to. We watched Bury v Rochdale in a midday kick off and then whizzed up to watch Accrington v Gillingham in a three o'clock kick off. Then we watched Notts County (featuring Daniel Leagueoneovic!) v Bury at midday, followed by Burton v Aldershot at 3.

When we played Plymouth away on the last day of the season a few years ago we stopped off at Bristol on the Saturday to watch Rovers v Hartlepool. Hartlepool had a striker who was so wound up the Rovers fans gave him loads of stick (w@nker, w@nker what's the score being the best chant). It was none other than Mr Nardiello!

Most well known non-Reds match I went to was the Liverpool 0 Arsenal 2 game when Thomas scored right at the end to win the title. It was so funny watching the faces of everybody on the Kop when that goal went in.

Living in that London for years loads. Barnet v Exeter. I followed Fulhams rise through the divisions and went to Brentford quite regularly. Also went to an African Nations Cup final in Cairo when Egypt won it was absolute madness.

I go to loads. Last night I was at Luton V Salisbury (2-0), last Sunday Manchester United 2 Wigan 0, the day before I saw Leyton Orient beat Shrewsbury 3-0 and tonight it's England V Scotland.

Perhaps the most random though was in 2007, S.C. Barcelona V Olmedo, that's Sporting Club Barcelona of Guayaquil, Ecuador, not the Spanish ones. Huge stadium, mad fans, started with a reserve match then the main match which finished 2-0. I was in Ecuador on a birdwatching holiday, most birding is done at dawn and dusk so being in Guayaquil on a Sunday afternoon it would have been silly not to go along. Best seats in the stadium cost $5 (US dollars).

    Leeds Utd 1 Bologna 0

Inter cities fairs cup, 1968 (I think).

Aggregate score was 1-1 after extra time and they had to toss a coin to see who went through. I have never known tension like that, even in a penalty shoot-out.

    Leeds won the toss.

Was on holiday in Torquay in the 70's and Torquay had a pre-season friendly against Colchester.
That was the only time I've ever been on Torquay's ground but it was another of the 92 ticked off.

Blunts v Villa in FA Cup third round in 2005 or 2006. Mate of mine is from Lichfield and a big Villa fan. Unfortunately the Blunts won 3-1.

    Fulham 2 Liverpool 3 - 7th October 1986

I was in London on business and decided on a whim to go to this League Cup 2nd leg game. Liverpool had won the first leg 10 (ten) 0 on 23rd September.

I was particularly interested in the Fulham tactics and formation as they attempted to overhall a ten goal deficit.

The funniest bit was a full page in the programme detailing ticket priority arrangements if Fulham got through to the next round.

Been to quite a few non-Barnsley games.

Hitchin Town V Hastings (mate played for Hitchin)
Luton V Barrow in the Barrow end (Live in Luton)
    Luton V Villa
Chesterfield V Macclesfield (mate is a Chesterfield fan)
    Wycombe V Chesterfield
Hull V Crawley (lived in Hull)
Hull V Southampton in Soton end
Chester V Ossett Town (mate at uni in Chester)

Also been to watch games at North Ferriby and Bridlington but can't remember who against. Quite enjoy watching other teams, means you can just enjoy the football without caring too much about the result.
