Whats the worst injury you've had playing footie

i Broke my foot and played 8 matches on it kicking the ball with my left

It really did hurt but it healed and i didnt let the side down. And you see barnsley players out with dead legs PAH!!!!

 

Broken rib, snapped a quadricep and almost lost a kidney

not all at the same time though!

Twisted Ankle and broken foot..

Buggers made me play in goal for the remaining 89 minutes of the game.

 

Torn knee ligaments

They wouldn't send me to a posh clinic in Florida so no more competitive football for me! (cryin)

Snapped my Cruciate Ligament, well pain full i can tell ya. Two operations and 2 yrs of physio thereapy 3 times a week, not kicked a football since

 

Fractured lower left arm, did it when I was 12 at school. 

 

Were you playing football 3 weeks ago?

Best flying head butt I have ever seen - unfortunately I was on the wrong end of it.

Torn Quad

Bruise the size of a dinner plate and as black as coal. Caused by obesety and old age.</p>

Sorted out by some lovely physio at roundwood clinic.</p>

Other than that just accumulated knee damage and  2 x toenail surgery.</p>

Medial collateral ligament damage from skiing.</p>

Wheres mi crutches</p>

Was up against a 10 foot player, and he karate kicked me in the eye </p>

 

Go on then - I'll play.

Got a knee in the bottom of the back.
Had 2 discs removed & 2 repaired.
Couldn't feel my legs & thought I'd broken my back.
But I hadn't.
Obviously.
Not played since ... but I was crap anyway.

Football is ****.
