You're absolutely convinced that Ritchie is exactly as Shepherd stated on his disgraceful radio Sheffield interview - wouldn't buy in players full stop no matter who they were or how good.

Many on here - and I include myself in that number - believe that Ritchie had his own ideas of who he wanted to sign, and it involved bringing in players better than what we already had/have (and spending money to do it). When he was told that was just not going to happen, he was offered players that were no better than what we already had, so logically he thought 'What is the point in that? We'll have to make do with what we have'. Shepherd is not willing to invest in better/more expensive players, he's interested in fattening out the squad with more of the same, league one average rubbish - that he has hand picked himself thinking he knows more than he actually does.

So now we have a situation where Shepherd has appointed his yes man, who will bring in these rubbish players, and play them and the talk of two million quid is just more lies come from god knows where. We are going down my friend. The whole set up at the club right now is a joke - preparing itself for a lower division, while every other club in it's right mind does everything it can to stay up.

That's why everyone is feeling miserable.

if its all shepherd's doing, and if we stay up this year, then no doubt you will be writing him a letter saying well done.

It's not just started this season either, letting Jacob Burns leave

last year almost cost us promotion IMO, I really think we would have gone up automatically or at least been not far off if we had had a defensive midfield player for the run in last year. That at a time when a club with ambition would have been looking to strengthen the squad in order to get promotion. No chance of playing in the World Cup ambitions if you'reLeague 1? Ask Luke Wilkshire.
