I'm in a minority. But at least he's still at the club

Why? Great servant but time to move on

I'm not convinced he'd be making much difference anyway

The problem with Bobby is that when he was here he became summat to beat up managers with and now he's gone it's the same. I don't know the ins and outs of his life but it's probably fair to say he struggled to find anyone else in the UK to offer him any sort of contract when he left us. I liked him personally a good solid trier but the time was right, possibly a little delayed, to part ways.

I think he could have been signed by Bradford but a certain ex manager put paid to it

Thing is, you jumped on my post which suggested we needed an Hassell type midfielder. I never said Hassell himself. I think everybody on here agrees we need a midfielder of that ilk. An old head, someone who can put their head/foot in, keep it simple etc.

I never saw a thing from Bobby during his 10 year with us that would have me saying anything but positive stuff about him. If others get a kick out of doing the opposite, then again it's a sad state of affairs. But you're not a fan of the bloke who gave us our club back, so....

I'm not sure what you are saying?

I've no gripe with Bobby at all and don't disagree of the type of player needed. I've not said anything negative about him beyond saying it's time to move on. And I'm not sure what not being Cryne's biggest fan has to do with it?

I just don't see this need for digging out Hassell, Cryne, Wilson etc.

I merely posted that I thought we needed an Hassell type in midfield, as I've already explained. You then posted 'yawn'.

He'd be a good option to have though. One big blot on Danny's copybook IMO.
