What's your gut instinct telling you to expect

It probably won't make any difference to the accuracy of our predictions whether we know the squad or not.
Last year there was a series of threads from people putting bets on for us to finish top half And that was when we knew what players we had.

I would imagine a slow mid-table, bottom-half start. All the players will be new and there will be lots of apologies about the players getting to know each other and settling down. Plus random changes of team as Wilson doesn't know who his best 11 are.

Then, with an ironic twist of fate, the team we all wanted but the manager couldn't see is forced upon him by injuries or someone getting sent off in a game.

We suddenly gel, put a good run together, leaving us just outside the play-offs at the end of the season and everyone buys season tickets with renewed optimism for the following year.

Unfortunately during the close season our best players then leave for Championship clubs and the re-building starts afresh...
