He looks up to his superiors. He'll deny it but it's pretty obvious that he knows his position. The authority figures are better than him and must be obeyed and looked up to.

It is inaccurate and slightly offensive what you keep repeating.
In life however we do have and require people to be in charge, laws, police etc to stop things decending in to chaos.

I only asked one question in my OP, "when does having strong opinions and principles start affecting your life and wellbeing?" Thats not generic it a direct question.

My family members were in the strike and saw it through to the end like the majority of others. If I was working as a miner then and strongly believed I would have been at the front of the lines.

My opinions against these owners and their intentions is not as strong as others on here and I was trying to work out why when I am equally as passionate about my club as anyone else.

Such as a prime minister who makes a law then breaks it himself multiple times? That's chaos isn't it? But you don't really care about that from the important man. It's more important for you to criticise someone for not attending a football match

Nobody has stopped going to show ANYBODY the right way in life. It's football for god's sake not the road to enlightenment.
People have stopped going because...they've lost interest, are dissatisfied with our owners or are refusing to prolong the stay of those owners by putting money into the club.
If your arm is gangenous you cut it off. It hurts but, ultimately, it is worth the short term pain.
Take your kids to the game. No one has an issue with that but dontr label those who don't go as disloyal.

Boris's party in the garden of no 10 was out of order and wrong fact, i personally wasnt that bothered about it i dont know why it didnt bother me but it didnt. I apologise to everyone who is bothered for me not being.
People stopping attending going to watch Barnsley doesnt bother me either but I would rather have oakwell full and cheering the lads on than not and on a Barnsley fc football forum i thought it might be worth a mention.

I am missing it, i have never said anyone who has stopped going is disloyal,

My opinion is that i dont think abuse, arguing, empty stands, toxic atmosphere helps our players fight their way out of a eelegation scrap. I know not every does that but some do, i am also not naming anyone on here as people that do that.

You’re not alone in your thoughts on the situation at the club .
I myself and I would think many others are concerned about the running of the club , the broken promises , the same mistakes being made resulting in the same fight for survival on the Championship season upon season even after one of the most successful seasons In our history which subsequently wasn’t built upon .
There’s plenty wrong with the way things are going at the club but my opinion is they are more mistakes by individuals and a business plan being implemented wrongly .
My opinion is that we should be pointing our fingers at events and voicing our concerns and demanding answers .
Personal abuse and campaigns that seem to have no means to an end fronted by a campaign headline aimed at one individual isn’t going to help our cause imo .
Everyone has their ways to protest be it not to attend or otherwise but imo the way forward is a restart by fans and owners ,
We get that they aren’t going to sink untold riches into the club but reasonable investment to grow the clubs infrastructure ie academy , stadium and facilities along with fans zones etc imo should be the priority whilst at least giving us a chance to compete in the Championship within our means and not hamstring us with sales and buys that resemble a lucky dip into the unknown , untried and seemingly unthought transfers of coaches and players .

Worth a mention or worth making multiple comments in multiple threads almost daily about it? You care more about someone not going to a football match than you do about your superiors acting like absolute dicks

A football team with a full crowd supporting the players is better than a half empty ground on the players backs.

    Pretty straight forward really.

I think we could agree that if you stop replying to my posts spouting nonesense it will reduce my number of comments back on the subject.

A football club that doesn't have three quarters of a million pound taken out of it to pay off a personal debt it better than one that has had three quarters of a million pound taken out of it to pay off someone's personal debt.

    Pretty straight forward really.

And yet that doesn't bother you much. But a fan not going to a football match has you up in arms...

A full crowd supporting players who aren't good enough, a manager who isn't good enough and a board who are not capable of running the club efficiently is helping no one and solving no long term issues.
Simple really. I'll leave it there.
