well, for those with children visiting the supermarket isnt it about time that the supermarket claimed some money from the government (or even better still; charged childless families) and provoded a full baby sitting service whilst another employee held the parents hand, pushed the trolley and picked up the shopping off the shelves for them. then the parents really wouldnt have difficulty would they? how about valet parking too, so women who cant park cars properly in the first place wont be complained about?! then how about opening their purse for tehm and putting the card into the machine and punch the pin number in too, after all, it is hard enough being a parent, never mind having to take the little darlings shopping, having a special parking place and then wanting everyone to get out of their way cos they have little 'johnny' or 'mary' in tow. FFS if you have kids, cope with it, dont expect to be bloody papmered for the rest of your life............... RANT OVER!!!!!!!!!!!
Me n thee should be bestist mates and now they clog up the roads every morning taking their offspring to school cos they couldn't have them walking that 500 yards to school. Then at the end of the school day they all park illegally outside the school gates waiting for little Johnny to be driven the 500 yards back home.
I have no problems with the spaces. Just why are they closer to the shops than disabled spaces as they are in Morrisons in Cortonwood. Why arent' they at the bottom of the car park that no one else uses. Special trolleys can be left there just as easily as as close to the shop where everyone trips over them. Everyone gets wet when it rains. Don't take the baby to the shop if you're that bothered. No one has yet given me a reasonable explanation as to why people with children, who in my mind should be left with the other parent whilst one goes shopping, get priority over everyone else, including my 83 year old nan, who isn't disabled but could do with getting parked a bit closer to the shop and have a bit more space to get out of the car, rather than getting abuse from some 30 something trendy mum in a four by four who has only brought the bloody spoiled brat so she doesn't feel so guilty about taking a space right next to the door.
RE: Mother and baby parking spots. agreed. Having the mis fortune to live near a large super market some of the sheer bone idleness of some of the parent/child space takers is staggering.
cats, the school run, any pupil of granville road schools, PETA, plastic policemen plastic irish men religion
RE: They are different pies I know - thats why it winds me up. "What you having for tea tonight"? "Shepherd's Pie" 'Lamb"? "No, beef"
Re: whats your pet hate....... Thick dozy tw@ts who find it hard to park inside the lines in Car parks and take up two spaces.
The school run for me too, even though i dont do it! I find it unbelieveble how these mums need army surplas land rovers and other 4x4 models to take there children to school when they only live locally. Im 21, and i just walked it to school just like most people did at the time. I think these people should be made serious examples of regarding taxation, they cause the congestion and unsafe environment around the school run hours so should have to pay for the privlidge in my opinion. They are the ones that clog up the parent and child spaces too!!
RE: Are you taking the piss mate? You ever parked in the Hedgerow car park at Leeds? Went for the first time the other day. Tightest 'kin car park in the world surely. Narrow lanes to get through, must have got there at the wrong time 'cos I ended up right at the top. 1 car space left next to a Porsche 911 ( Sad lovely person was sat in eating a sarnie. What? can't afford a decent meal after buying your car?) Narrowest 'kin spaces I have ever seen. And it cost me £5.20 for just over 1 hour (went to buy some new togs, saw nowt better than I can buy in Tarn or Wakey) And that Havey Nicks is ***** Hey, that would be Harvey!
Dee Daas! God help them slack gits who were daft enough to marry one and then whinge about it, that's just 'kin stupidity!
People who when approaching the alhambra roundabout from sheffield road who just pull straight out. I often am in the inside lane of the roundabout and want to get off to go morrisons and have another Barsteward car just pull straight out.
