RE: can i ask you something oh at last a real donny fan,bit of a change from the bandwagon jumping ******* that keep posting ***** on here
still waiting for the answer.... I'll say it again.... *ahem* What's it like being beaten/hammered/humiliated by a 'pub team'? No excuses, it won't hurt, hey call it free therapy
RE: Trouble is North Yorks - us Barnsley fans seem to have become just as arrogant! Thing is personally I never did get arrogant/big headed.... whatever and just enjoyed the games as they came along thats why I get pissed off with the muppets that are.Especially the ones who come on here who can't see it in themselves
You are entertaining me a lot more than I am you, believe me. Now, don't you have diseases to contract? http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/BBS/images/emoticons/******.gif
RE: Trouble is North Yorks - us Barnsley fans seem to have become just as arrogant! At the end of the day this is all light hearted banter, bragging rights, whatever you wanna call it. I have tried putting valid arguements to the childish comments, but just get insulted. Arrogant we are called.....you hit the nail on the head with the majority on here mate. Looking forward to tuesday night tho hopefully carry on this good week But looks like Bristol City will be too tho, you guys need to buck up.
honest answer the first sending off was caused by the refereee and linesman. coppinger threw an elbow at austin which was seen by the linesman. austin in retaliation pushed him and he fell over the wall. austins push was through/round the linesman who was making a grab for coppinger to pull him away (after seeing his elbow) so i felt the correct thing to do was to send off the doncaster player for an elbow because the linesman was in no doubt that this happened and then at worst book austin for retaliating or he could have left austin with no booking because it was a natural reaction to swing back when punched. definetly not a red to the barnsley player. the second red i felt was also unfair. the challenge was late and there was an intent to show him who was boss but i dont think there was any intent to injure him, both feet were on the ground, both arms by his side he just ran through him and the only part of his body that came into contact with the player was his thigh. some refs give it and some dont but what was most memorable about it was the body language of the referee he reached straight for the red and held it aloft with a tight grip and an evil, almost robotic look on his face. he wasnt sent off because of that one foul, he was sent off because the referee was trying to prove that he was boss in a game he had lost control of by his own mistakes. the referee was a disgrace, not just to barnsley but to both teams. you were given some bad decisions too, one particular one i remember was a barnsley player went straight through the back of your forward and got no where near the ball but the ref who was stood 5 yards away saw nothing. he spoilt what couldve and should have been a good game
I wouldn't count on that, to a pissed person your pretty pathetic But if you wanna keep replying to me go for it . Remember letting it out makes you feel better. Repeat after me.....'I cried like a baby when we got beaten a third time by the pub team, it really hurts and I don't like my boyfriend seeing me like this' it is ok to admit it, I'm sure your fellow fans will understand your sexuality and the fact that you find it hard to admit you don't like the fact you can't beat a pub team
Can't agree re Austin, AM - he got what the rules dictate. That is, he raised hands to an opposition player and pushed him over a wall! You simply cannot retaliate in that fashion under the FA rule-book. Where Rennie went wrong (or his assistant, depending on your point of view) was in not taking action against Coppinger - who in my opinion should have been red-carded as well. At the very LEAST he should have got a yellow. Mind you, it was Coppinger who provoked Vaughan into getting himself sent off at Belle Vue last season - so maybe Ozzie should have known better.
I'm not bitter at all. You give me hope. No matter how bad life gets, no matter how tough the challenges may be, I can take comfort in the fact that I am better off than you sad f*ckwits. Come on! You know you wanna keep this goin'..... Although it would just continue to prove my hypothesis.
ok austin - deserved kay - massively undeserved. you guys only saw it from the back so could only see kay's back and your lads' theatrical fall. he caught him late with his hip but was seriously not worth a yellow
self defence? it is a natural reaction to push away anybody that punches or swings at you. it isnt retaliating it is self defence. he didnt wait a few seconds and then do it, it was an isntant thing which is purely reflex. for that reason alone he should have stayed on the pitch because the ref should have used common sense
Prove that you are to small to admit that your team was ***** today? And to also answer the question that was asked well over an hour ago. Yeah I'd agree with that. But hey I'm a realist and can see your too cowardly to answer, meh would have been fookin funny Ok let's be really immature now, I'll drop to your level. You reply to this you are truly a feckwit, not only being goaded by pub team fans, but also because pro evo holds more entertainment then asking a coward questions but hey, you've still got the Premiership feeling at Oakwell, your team is SO good, SO good in fact that what the hell are you doing in League 1? Au revoir, hope Bristol stuff you tuesday RTID
It was retaliation and how many times have you seen the retaliating player dismissed? I'll wager that the greater majority of today's red-cards in the Football League (and there were quite a few incidentally) were for retaliatory actions. You can view it as self-defence, but I suspect practically every referee would have interpreted it as retaliation, and it's that interpretation that is important. Like I say, given Ozzie's 'bent' for hot-headedness (there's times when he seems to have taken over Chris Morgan's role!) - we could hardly be surprised to see the red card waved at him. What was wrong was Rennie's inaction regarding Coppinger in the affair - he should have been red-carded as well. Do they still have the post-match FL video panel??
unfortunatly i dont believe the incident is on tape. this is because of something i have complained about before. we only have a camera filming things from the gantry on the west stand, because of its position quite a lot of stuff gets missed. we ave a great big **** off camera stand in the north stand which should be put to good use. the manager would have more than one view of the game to analyse it from and we would get more tv coverage because the quality of highlights would improve. just an idea
RE: Trouble is North Yorks - us Barnsley fans seem to have become just as arrogant! The voice of reason. Hope you're doing OK mate.
At the end of the day I thought we were having good humoured banter. Thing is, until Rovers recent history, we don't get chance to dish it out much! Glad we got the 3 points today and look forward forwad to the return fixture. It's only a game girls and boys.
