Am I missing something obvious? You're saying that only the new supporters moan and then you end your post with a moan about the club after telling us that you have been a supporter for a long time.

You ask if it is new supporters and then demonstrate that no it isnt.

    You stupid t***

Get that chip off your shoulder.

I was talking about a 'band' of our supporters - ie not them all. And who was talking about other clubs ? Couldn't give a toss about Wednesday or anyone else.

    kin ell.

No chip on my shoulder just saying it like it is.

Sounded very much to me like a typical rose-tinted specs brigade/ doom & gloom merchants spat whether it be a 'band' of our supporters or all of them. Fed up ( not chip on shoulder) of reading about our supporters are worse than others, when in fact we're all the same hence the mention of Wednesday or anyone else by comparison.
    Yours, chipless shoulders Tarntyke

I remember going to oakwell as a nipper in the sixties and.....

You could hire a seat cushion for the west stand upper for an extra 6d. If the result was good the cushions were handed in at the bottom of the stairs. If it was bad, the cushions were frisbee'ed at the pitch.

Oh how I wish that tradition had continued over the years
