It'll not be alright though will it once they're told their not wanted next season that's it they can get a new club like jcr as done why ant we done anything in transfer market yet they've got the money why aren't we more active what we waiting for all other clubs to snap up the better players

 

We are talking to players this week. There's not been much action at loads of clubs.

But if Danny is on holiday then the club will probably wait until he comes back and starts to identify other players he wants. In the meantime it sounds like he has given a list to Ben and they will be talking to them this week.

Other teams can afford to wait we need players that can cut it at top of league one and for less wages then most clubs will pay the long we go with 10 squad members the more money players will want knowing we're desperate we need to get the players we've identified signed up even if it means paying I little More and having a smaller squad we're going to end up with a team of loan players again

I don't agree with your logic. Many of the players that can cut it at the top of league 1 can afford to wait and see who comes in for them. They are not going to jump at the first offer. So we can show our interest but they can sit back and wait for who else comes in.

 

We're in for a massive struggle hopefully we can loan some decent players because we're not going to sign any way were fecking about we need to offer player contracts they can't turn down and get our squad built not we do it every season and it doesn't work we need to change tack and part with some fecking money

 

Why do we bother with pre season friendly's weve not got a squad until September normally because of penny pinching all fecking time we'll end up with a load of ***** again because we won't part wi brass get ready for loan players again

Just wait and see, every season it's same we play our friendly's then bring 4/6 players in after first match when we lose, same 4/6 players we've been linked with all summer, but finally once penny's dropped that we have sign players we do, and then blame next 10 games of pure ***** on fact we need time to gel and before you know it managers sack for the boards failing in the summer then we start all over again next summer with exact same mistakes

That didn't happen in any season under Hill or Flitcroft. Most of our permanent deals were done before pre season friendlies started. We did though add to the squad in the loan window, as did every other club.

I'm not one for defending the club if they don't deserve it, and if this COGba deal happens for 500k I'll be having a right old moan and demanding answers all over the shop, but your opinion in this thread is way out.

 

Selling players before recruiting is a massive mistake and it'll cost us big time we need to be sort out with a full squad in time for preseason training and it's just not going to happen
