Yep. I believe Danny is the man that will finally give young Reuben a proper run of games. Might be next season, but he'll get them I reckon. And then we'll see if he's capable or not, ala Butterfield/Stones etc.

Bennett is at Ossett now. Nearly signed for Aquaforce at the start of the season.

My take on the former academy graduates are mixed.

The Bennetts what got contracts under Mark Robins weren't technically good but they were a big strong group of young men that could grind out results at u18 and then reserve level.

The likes of Rose Clarke RNL Stones Digby and even steade and Scott kilburn were all good on the ball. Some have faded away for some reason or another

Clarke needs a chance at Barnsley. Big talent who at the time Mark Robins talked up a lot.

To RNL, Hes got it all but he needs to start and show it. I posted on Fireds Gerrard post that its a good thing to have that fire and aggression on the pitch and I really believe that. I've spoken to him before when hes been watching and hes a really nice guy but the problem is he takes that on to the pitch. If someone goes straight though him he'll either stay down hurt or get up and walk to is position. In my opinion he needs to start and get himself fired up. Go and go face to face with that guy, have a go at the ref, lines man, anyone just get yourself fired up and hes got it all.

I've posted this about Reuben before a few times. Maybe the club could give him the captains armband in the u21's and tell him YOU have to keep that team motivated on the pitch. Digby's the captain of the u21's at the moment but he doesn't have a problem with having ago at someone much like Stones never used to have the problem.

All he needs to do is let his football do the talking.

Good post HT, really hope they all make it, unfortunately there's a good chance 1 or 2 wont be at the club in 18 months, RNL has really got to take his chance big time when it comes along now and clark seems to be behind him digby and rose in terms of making the bench, but as I say hopefully they all make it, would much prefer them to make it than loanees who don't give a stuff
