Fox and Hounds - Thorpe Audlin. We spent the whole of the time looking out of the window for police cars, surely coming to arrest us. Can't remember the price.
I loved Thurnscoe and Goldthorpe. Wednesday night Corra. Friday night Goally Hotel. Saturday night Corra or a town either Donny or Wakey. Pubs in Tarn at that time were dire. Goldthorpe Hotel when Trish had it is still my favourite pub of all time. First time I bought a drink was in Little George up Wombwell - 3 pints - then from there to the school dance. Cost per pint at that time I would imagine will have been about 12p.
