    I reckon top 10.

And if you'd have offered me that at the start of the season I'd have taken it.

Hopefully add a striker with pace and some competition at LWB in January, and we'll have a shot at top 6.

With a few draws here and there, I'll go for an optimistic 10th.
Surely the other Play off challengers will be picking up wins, and some of them do still have that game in hand.
However, 10th in the table at that time, might still only be about 5 points from the top six!.

Agreed, need two strikers however I don't think we will go for two though.I think Marsh needs a fresh start at another club and we fetch in another mobile player.

Even if Marsh leaves you aren’t getting a first team replacement with his wages

He’ll be on peanuts as 6th choice forward.

It’ll need a Cosgrove or Watters to leave to free up enough wages for a first team replacement

I can’t see where two strikers are coming from.

We’re obviously not going to move Humphrys or DKD on.

Is anyone going to take on Cosgrove, Watters or Jalo & pay them their full (or at least close to) wage currently? If they don’t (which I don’t think they will) then I can’t see where the moneys coming from to pay the wages of a 6th first team striker.

I think the main incoming will be a back up to Gent & one of Cotter or Lofthouse departing on loan.

I think the only other bits of business will be a few of the younger lads going out on loan or even departing permanently who aren’t getting near the first team. Marsh, Nejman, James, Kozluk, Pickard, Barratt etc.

Slonina returning to Chelsea may also happen.

No chance we'll sign 2 strikers. May not sign any.

I don't necessarily think we're any more likely to lose these games than against the lower sides. I think we may be better against teams that have a go at us, although Huddersfield beat us comfortably. Birmingham losing one or two games including to Shrewsbury, not convinced Wrexham are that good, they seem to be sneaking games. And Bolton are up and down and at times a bit of a mess.

We'll probably win 2, draw 3 and lose 2, that would sum us up well.

Wrexham might not be but they keep winning that’s some habit to get into that we have now stopped doing.

Reckon we'll get about 8pts from them games. No idea where that will put us, obviously depends on other teams' results.

Happy to say I was very wrong, I went for 12th, we are 6th after a fantastic festive run. I'll go for a play off finish, 5th or 6th, providing we don't sell anyone major in January.

After the Orient horror show, it’s been a brilliant 9 points.

I didn’t participate in this thread but would’ve probably gone for around 10th I think. Let’s hope we can keep this run going.
