can't seem to access that page - which ruin was it? says page cannot be found did it turn out to be the ruin on the Hoyland side of the M1 or the Tankersley side? tia

RE: not a problem.. Accessed it via Google.</p> Used to go up there when I was a kid with an old miner who was a friend of the family. Old Fred took us on some reight walks up there. At that time there were huge overhead coal buckets which ran from the colliery over towards the factories in Chapeltown. Some kids I know used to climb up and hitch a ride.</p>
Tankersley old hall It's down black lane at Tankersley. From Allots Corner at Hoyland Common by the School drive down Tankersley Lane and turn off left to Tankersley Church as the road bends sharp right, this is Black Lane.
