Where realistically did people think we would be at

RE: Southend, dead and buried a few months ago. Stuck by

I think there's a lot to be said for the attitude of both Colchester and Southend - their fans and club setup. Unlike us (who're almost becoming like Wednesday) with a significant section of the support screaming "sack the manager" at the first sign of any trouble and a chairman who's only too happy to oblige because he thinks that doing anything constitutes doing something constructive and making ill-conceived, knee-jerk decisions constitutes strong leadership.

I had a real buzz at the beginning of this season - not anymore...

    Kinell fire.
You'd fail every module if it involved writing.

Come on then - what's the best standard you've coached?

I think you're all gob, no trousers.
    I don't think you've been a pro coach.
    I don't think you've coached for a living.

Johnny Coachman is to coaching what Journo Tyke is to Journalism.

Then again - I could always be completely wrong.

I thought we'd be in danger of being pulled into the relegation zone, but outside of it by four, maybe six points. It's not the positionthat we're in that worries me, somuch as the apparent aspirations of chairman, the fact that we have an untried manager who doesn't exactly look promising, and the civil war that seems to be looming in the dressing room.

Never said I had been a pro coach you nob head. Where's tha got that Idea from?</p>

Nearest Iv'e been to coaching at a pro Club is when I was invited to apply for an Academy job at a club not too far away from Barnsley Town Hall, which I declined because I was working in Norfolk. Also turned a Scouting job down at Forests Academy for obvious reasons.

i hoped that we would be out of the relegation zone, battling like anything to survive

however, i accepted that if we didn't survive then we would have continuity and built on the tremendous team spirit that Andy built and had hped that many of the young players in the team, Kay, Richards, Bri Howard, Disco to an extent etc etc had all improved and developed their game from a year in the championship which enabled us to have a platform to lift off if we were in League One thew following season.

I will be the first one to admit it if I am wrong but I still maintain that sacking Ritchie and employing someone with no experience was a very risky move and we are in no position to be taking risks.

If we go down the future looks very bleak - the players whom have been brought in offer no suggestion at all that we will bounce straight back .

    "Nob Head".

    That wasn't nice.
    I'm hurt.

So - your name is "Johnny Coachman" - but you've never been a proper coach.
That's a bit like Journo Tyke never being a proper Journalist.

I'm going to change my username to "Rocket Scientist Tyke" - as I know **** all about that & won't ever become one.

Below is a list of jobs I've never done:

    (1) Zoo Manager at Chester
    (2) NASA Propulsion Engineer
    (3) Lead Singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers
    (4) Scout for Nottingham Forest FC

    Well done.
    You complete fecking retard.

Pretty much where we are now. In fact I thought we might be a bit further away from safety than we are. That is why I cant believe there is so much negativity around the club now. Anybody who expected anything different was just being unrealistic.
