    Another public relations **** up.

Obviously should be at the ground.

Very frustrating that the club do some things well but are so terribly poor at nurturing and developing their customers. Sad really.

why not announce the winner by shooting them through a cannon - towards the idiots that run on the pitch at the end of the last home game??

    2 birds - one erm… cannon

Don't piss off in the region of 9000 home fans to give an exclusive to like 200 fans. Have the dinner by all means but announce the winners at the weekend and present them with the trophies. The award winners next tuesday as an exclusive to those paying cash can be given interviews for those in attendance. Isn't it tomorrow when voting shuts? Seems early if it's another six days for a winner to be announced. It's sad we are breaking with a long standing tradition.

Not too late for our club to do the right thing......

Tend to agree with you. I've been to most of the recent player of the year dinners before they stopped doing them. Can't say it would have changed my mind about going if they had already announced it on the pitch at the last game of the season.

Announce it at the dinner before the final home game but don't tell SuperTyke.

Then announce it again at final home game so everyone can clap.

    Who's arsed?

When its on the pitch there's about 12 people in ground to see it, about the same who'd go for a dinner.

Why people get the tit on about not being able to clap a person I don't know.
