    can be easily confused with the Cragrats next to the soveriegn which turned out to be a nursery for little kids. Was directed to Crow Edge though.

    Nasty chain ??

    I doubt that there's many pubs, indeed restaurants that don't need to reheat something from frozen, especially if you want a wide menu and when you don't order in advance.</p>

    No way can they offer the menu they do and cook it all fresh and ready. They'd be out of business in weeks.</p>

    Get real - as long as it's hot enough and cooked properly in the first place, it's all down to personal choice. I've always found the menu at the Tree is wide, varied and very acceptable.</p>

    Food I've had there has been fine...nothing spectacular but reasonable in a pub. I've had dreadful service there though.

    Used to work at the Fountain many years ago...

    Hasn't been the same since the owner (Dave) sold it to a larger company. Used to love the chocolate truffle cake...
