Contract negotiations and the majority of player transfers will happen at or around that time.

I doubt much is happening at the moment because apart from the premier league and playoff contenders 95% of the footballing world will be on the beach.

We probable need 5 or 6 new players but in no way is our need as great as that following promotion.

I also think you'll find quite a number of football managers with other business interests (not that I know for sure Davey has such)

As far as I'm aware he has a business interest in Florida and he is there for a week ot two. He'll probably combine a bit of work and coaching with a family holiday. He may even have a scouting interest out there.
