I think that scheme was in place for Cardiff tickets, wasn't it?

I applaud you valiant attempts to be of help. But you just try using that to get tickets sometime (and yes it is only home games - not even most of them either).

    Not sure.

As I said, I thought someone on here had mentioned it a while ago.

I'm sure if he or his friend ring or e.mail the club and explain they will be dealt with.

    I don't have a problem,

Kev has a ST and I go and buy 2 from the club as and when Laura is fit enough to go, 1 for her and 1 for me.

You are still trying Crystal but maybe you haven't read my posts. I've bought tickets sending in vouchers this season but then the next time you phone you'll be told that that isn't possible.

Its not the case that my mate or myself are being put out over the tickets. Its the way in which the club appears to offer no option but for fans to go in person to the club.

If there are other ways available then, great, but surely all options should be made clear by the football club to save any misunderstanding.

You chose to ignore the content of original my post in the fist place. Otherwise why give such a wiseguy response?

    Sorry

Maybe you are missing the point. When I know that I need tickets for a particular home or away game I try to buy them at a suitable home match (I live 80 miles away). However, it does happen that tickets haven't been put on sale even at the last home game before I need them. Although I have had trouble in the past getting away tickets. This season seems to be particularly troublesome and no matter what I tried I could not get tickets for the Leeds home game (won't bore any more with the full story).

    I was reading your posts

and was trying to be helpful explaining that some people find if they explain they live far from the ground they should be able to buy tickets over the phone. You say you have done this previously so why are you therefore saying I'm wrong?

If you have tried a second time and the club say that it's not possible, then surely the onus is on you to state that they have previously done what they are now saying they don't, and ask to speak to Don Rowing the Box Office Manager.

So if I've done all that what do you reckon I should do next? (apart from come on here and moan!!) ..and I'm not having a go at you Crystal - the club can be hard work at times.

    P.S.

Just to clarify. I haven't spoken to Don Rowing about this particular matter but I have about ticketing problems in the past.

    I know you're not having a go at me , love .

All I can suggest is that you drop a line to Gordon Shepherd and point out the difficulties you're being faced with , when all you want to do is buy match tickets . It can't hurt going right to the top , can it ?

never once had a problem buying tickets over phone using Patron codes...I live down in Wales

have bought numerous away game tickets over the phone using my Patron code.
And I save around £8 to £10 per home match... plus get first refusals on my seat in cup games , AND get a good pick at tickets if or when we are doing play offs , which HAS happened twice very recently....so I can see a very good advantage of having a season ticket.

I'm sure there is an advantage

A part time fan like me, without a season ticket, wouldn't know a thing.
