    Well done Bolton, deserved to win that over 90 minutes. No excuses tonight, some of those fringe players should be embarrassed at that second half performance.

    I know cole missed the desicive pen but what was walton doing for that delfonso pen I'd expect a under 12s goalkeeper to have saved that.

    14 shots for only 4 on target is pathetic. We didn't show Bolton enough respect. We thought we could turn up, play anyone and beat them just because they are in a lower league. Schopp should say sorry to the 1,600 he wasted the night of. He will have known just how little strength in depth we have and that a few injuries and we are screwed.

    The mind games of Walton moving along his line didn't work. Kane was lucky his penalty sneaked in. Cole WTF was that? The keeper needlessly dived to save it when he could have stopped it by just sticking his left left to the side.

    We've played a L1 side and they've failed to do the basics like controlling the ball and passing to a teammate in red in that second half. Not exactly cause for optimism.
    Schopp may be thinking oh **** about some of the backup players and praying we don't get many injuries!

    Absolute state of some of the posts on here. We were decent ish first half and second best in the second but we made no end of changes and most of these lads will have never played together before. Course it's disappointing to lose but I'm not really that arsed. We'll make 6 or 7 changes again on Saturday and look better for it I'm sure

    I'm arsed. Arsed for the fans who had their time wasted by going to watch it and for the club who after having finances decimated due to covid could have done with a cup run for the revenue and feel good factor.
