    It's a bog-standard retro design

    just about every club has had its badge in a shield at some time.</p>

    It's not a Wednesday thing by any means.</p>

    I'm surprised a company would use that as their logo without thinking of the wider significance of it.

    i'm not all that surprised. i work in marketing/pr and most companies don't have a clue what image they're trying to put out, let alone what they actually are saying without realising.

    i like the surridge logo on sholder but makes shirt look a bit blank i think you'd have to move badge into middle if you were going to do that

    For gods sake, it's not 'political' .....

    .... or religious, it's a sports company's logo, like someone said earlier, I think it comes from when Stuart Surridge started up selling cricket gear ....... chill art!
