    International football has changed with even some of the so called smaller nations now having players playing in the top leagues.
    Long gone are the days when you can play swashbuckling football at sweep teams off the park 4s and 5s, teams are well drilled at sitting in and taking their chance(s) on the break, which can make as we've seen for a frustrating product on the eye.
    Tactically we were all wrong and switching to a back 3, whilst not perfect yielded a much better performance vs a very good Swiss team.
    It's sometimes hard to get the balance between result and performance to a tee but Southgate's record is good tbf but Id say Deschamps is the best left, might be dull but they are always there or there abouts are the French.

    Southgate for me, i might not agree with his tactics, Come on England an bring it home Southgate.
