David Currie. 2-3 at home v Ipswich.

They had a young talent called Dalian Atkinson scored twice, but for Reds fans Currie was amazing. Something special to behold and we saw the beginnings of a legend.

I knew before the match he must be something different cos of all the Darlo fans who had made the trip down to watch him.

Am i right in thinking the Huddersfield game we won 7-1...

was the only time Ward, Hignett and Dyer played in the same team, i seem to recall hearing something similar. Higgy got 2, Dyer got 2, Ward 1, Tinkler 1 and Barnard with that goal.

"THAT" goal is the best one I have seen live at Oakwell..it totally stunned the whole crowd

it was as if time stood still for a nano sec as we all took in what we had just seen...it seemed to happen in slow motion like in a film...but oh my word what a magnificent goal...it coulda also hit the floodlight had he got it wrong :D :D , but he didn't so who cares , WORRA GOAL
