Personally, have never understood what is gained by O'Grady wandering left. It places him too far away from his support and he is quickly surrounded and nullified by numbers in the opposition defense. He also takes up the space that would be better utilised by a quality left sided mid field player (if we had one). If he stayed central, his support can run left or right of him. There is a greater uncertainty in the defense and potentially more attacking options available to us. Whether we play one up front with Mellis supporting from between the lines, or two up front (Pedersen may be OK but 90 minutes is not long enough to tell), the balance of mid field still seems to me to be an unresolved problem.
I've not been annoyed at any point during this debate/conversation. I don't take myself or this place too seriously. Only one person has ever really annoyed me on here and I think that quite a few on here would know who I mean, but again even that was over in a short space of time in the real world. tbf RR, we've had a disagreement over a point on here, its not real life, its not going to stop me enjoying my Pinot Grigio, its not going to stop me going to work tomorrow. I think we all have more important things to worry about than whether or not you like Jim O'Brien.
