Apart from a couple of intelligent through balls, he was easily dispossessed nearly every time he got the ball, outmuscled, dwelt on it, misplaced countless passes, and fell over a lot. He was a shadow of the player who several weeks ago got MOTM.

IMHO he needs more game time, but the dilemma for Stendel is, we cannot afford at this stage to carry a passenger while he develops into the influential player he has the capability to become. He looked very dispirited when he trudged off.
