My head was fine I was even up before noon. Mind you, due to the weather influenced change of plan, I went home straight from the brewery. I suspect you didn't! Cracking night though, a real Manx reunion!
RE: My head was fine It was indeed! Just like old times - decent beer! All we needed was a three-inch flood in the bogs and it would've really set the scene! Horseshoe on Wombwell 'til one-ish - on the Old Moor Porter. I was like death warmed up yesterday!
on the subject of LDRed's drinking habits....this just in from MSN John - 6 days to go says: southern comfort with ginger beer...tried that in the airport after mk dons away...was quite nice moose™ says: that sounds like a raving homos drink John - 6 days to go says: i was about 15 at the time, maye 16, that's my best excuse moose™ says: thats no excuse John - 6 days to go says: plus it was free moose™ says: your excuses are still not working John - 6 days to go says: ah well, i admit it then...raving homo! moose™ says: im pasting that onto the BBS now....
So where do you do your supping now? If I'm in town, it's the Courthouse or Joseph Brammah, local it's the Traveller's Rest at Pogmoor. Neither of them has poor drainage or an "exotic" atmosphere, but they all serve decent ale.
Mainly town... O'Dwyer's on match days - all over the place on a Setdi night. The Brammah is a regular spot... Occasionally go round Wombwell but very seldom these days!
You're as bad as Christopher Phoned at 2pm yesterday "I'm shattered Mum, couldn't sleep last night, was up 'til 5am" "Anything worrying you?" "No, don't know why I can't sleep, speak later just about to put my shopping away got to find a way of putting 24 cans coke in fridge" "Hang on , how much coke are you going through?" "Not much, 4 or 5 cans per night" "And you're asking me why you can't sleep-CAFFIENE " Kids today!
No self respecting Jock I've ever met drinks whiskey They drink whisky. Whiskey is what the Irish drink.
5 years as a cellarman me, oh yes.

My head was fine But Revvie P informed me the Wombwell lot ended up in Wetherspoons for a few hours afterwards!
