    Its an old seaside town with overpriced fish and chips....and a ruined Abbey

    Its OK for a day out if your up that way nothing more than that...

    I live in whitby, recently it seems every time i walk around i see a barnsley shirt, the fish and chips are over priced and imho aren't as good as that chippy on Summer lane, Darn's is it?

    Voted by Which magazine,top seaside resort of the year in 2007. A great place everything considered.Psst! have a good look around Whitby, there's far more going on than just Fish n Chip sales. :)
