    Means nothing Brittian we just signed had just signed a new 3yr contract at MK. If someone offers the right money in January he would be off. Just looks nice for the fans and deflects the fact they failed to bring in a striker of anyworth.

    Pretty pathetic thread this. So we aren't allowed to criticise the owners? As long as I know.

    I think today's business has been fantastic. But I also think the owners are whoppers.

    What does that make me?

    It could mean the board rejected all bids for CW , we don't know what has been offered. £1.5M is derisory. CW didn't have to sign an extension of a further year, but maybe the board wanted to nail him down as he's our best player and they don't want him to go anywhere.

    It could also mean that they've put in a more realistic release clause into CW's contract.

    Nobody knows what is going to happen, that's the beauty of football isn't it? That's why we love the beautiful game isn't it?

    I agree we could be a striker short, but i think we've got enough to make progress this season now. It's just down to the new coach now

    The Woodrow news is the exception to the rule. Previously, anyone who is worth decent money has been sold by the owners. Pinnock, Brown, Potts, Lindsay just off the top of my head in recent seasons. You surely must understand folks frustrations and then subsequent surprise and delight when our best player signs a new deal rather than a contract with someone else?

    No Fonzie.
    Would never ever consider myself to be a better fan. I also know that most on here
    recognise we've done some decent business today.
    However I do disagree that people are being hounded and for sure I disagree that just "once" a bad word was said about Paul Conway.
    However, football divides those who all want the same thing in a way that nothing else does.
    In this case I guess we need to agree to disagree about the events of today and mebbe even the last three years.
