RB, LB, experienced CH and another striker. If McGeehan goes then another MF too. Offload Thiam, Cavare, Pinillos, Green, Walton and probably loan out the likes of Simoes, Odour and Styles.

In the system Struber plays, Brown, Chaplin, Mowatt, Woodrow and either keeper look good. Every other position I would argue requires a improvement. Halme has something but will spend as much time suspended as on the field.

The squad is already way too big so I don't think this is remotely feasible. We'll probably sell a couple of the players listed above for good measure. And I think the quality of fullbacks required to make Struber's system work consistently are very difficult to find on a limited budget.

I've no doubt the system can work, but to make it work in this league requires a budget beyond our means. The pace and energy of Chaplin and Brown will cause teams problems, but the space the system affords the opposition will, imho, mean the goals against column will be even higher in the second half of the season.
