Who is a reds fan having never lived in Barnsley?

    I havent lived closer than 120 miles for 36 years though spent my formative years in Wombwell. My eldest son who is an ardent Reds fan has never lived in Barnsley! Unfortunately my youngest son followed his mums example and became a Newcastle supporter!

    I've never actually lived in Barnsley but I'm only like 15 minutes away. My dad's from Barnsley so I've been brought up as a tyke.

    Never lived in Barnsley? Thought you were from Wombwell?  or don't you class that as Barnsley?

    Born in Leeds moved south when I was 14.
    Welwyn Garden City, Maidenhead, Harrow, Guernsey and now Jersey.
    Folks are from Tarn - Dad took me to Oakwell when I started showing an interest in Leeds when I was about 5!

    Makes the Yorkshire chants at games a bit funny though, specially when we play a Lancs side, cos I want to give it an "Oo Lanky Lanky"
