    That's fair comment

And I do know that Nardy is far from the finished article, but I also believe it was the form that Nardy showed towards the back end of last season that actually got Ritchie the full time job. I'd like to see Ritchie repay that by giving him an extended run in the side (not yet though, in my opinion he's still a few weeks away from being at his sharpest.)

Thing is though Jay - to get back to his 'sharpest' he needs to be playing games!

Chicken and egg situation I guess! Unless you're advocating a spell in the reserves that is.

As far as I can see the options are that Ritchie gives Nads another extended run in the first team now i.e. starting games, alongside either Wright or Richards (which would be harsh on Hayes imho) - or uses boy wonder as he's doing at present, as back-up for the Hayes/Richards or Hayes/Wright partnerships.

Perhaps he should go with the first option and see what transpires. At least it would settle the debate one way or the other. Personally I think it would have an overall detrimental effect on the team's performances and results - but then, what do I know? Like you, I'm just a fan!
