agreed, the law of averages suggests it should end in the next 100 years...... but I'm not very hopeful
Once went on 3 dates with a decent bird. It was only during and after our 4th I managed to 'score'. On the previous 3 I'd tried my balls off to try and get a result and even though I did nothing wrong it didn't seem to work. Then for some reason at the 4th attempt we just seemed to click and then BOOM! To my suprise had the night of my life and ended up skipping home later with a massive smile on my face. No we'll get hammered ...... (insert own joke here)
I feel unusually calm about the game, although I'm sure it will be different once I'm watching it unfold. The expectation is all on Swansea, and I think that will help us. I also think we've generally played better away from home than at Oakwell this season. As someone mentioned earlier in the thread, I'd probably feel far more nervous if we were protecting a 1-0 lead, so I hope the same applies to the team. Also, if we fail to get through, then I'll be "content" in that we'll have failed to beat Swansea in 4 attempts this season, so there's no logical argument that it would be unjust to us in any way. Everything points towards us being able to play without fear. If that doesn't prove to be enough on the night then so be it.
Yeah we wouldn't have missed out because we finished 13 points off automatic and barring the Cardiff City game haven't thrown that many points away. I still thought we were going to be this seasons Hull City after Cardiff City and Forest away so this is a bonus.
Since the start of the pandemic we have overcome major obstacles , every time we have needed a result we have pulled it off & I see no reason why tomorrow will be any different, it might be a win by an odd goal & then penalties or we might go through without penalties but either way I am confident we will be heading down Wembley way.
