    RE: Prosinecki wasn't bad

Yeah, that was a one man demolition of a team if ever I saw one.

Funny, I was going to put Molby

I think the 53rd time this question was asked, I said Molby. or was it the 54th?

stood in the middle of the park, ball glued to his boots, pinging balls 30 and 40 yards to feet, I remember him nearly breaking the cross bar with an effort from just inside the opposition half. massive barrel chest. inspired signing at the time, turned our fortunes that season I seem to remember.

    That's him.

Might have covered 120 yards all game (and that includes the walk to and from the tunnel), but could dictate a game and seemingly had all the time in the world even when he was surrounded by players.

If ever a player demonstrated the difference between a footballer and someone who runs round a lot pretending to be one, it's him.

    my main memory of Molby...

away at Chrlton, last minte, we're one down.

Free kick, edge of box, Molby has it all lined up.

Neil Redfearn runs past him and drills it into top corner. Molbby looked gutted (no pun on his waistline, etc)

I remember Molby never left the centre circle but was class with it.

We had a manager in them days

Wilson replaced Rammell and Saville with Hendrie and Wilkinson.

Shuker is the modern day Brenden O Connell. different decade, different hairstyle.

Is there a collective noun for the type of footballers I mean? Anyway, we've had a few over recent years. We've also had a few with Molby's workrate but 1/20,000th of his talent who were classed as 'skillfull'. Not mentioning any Barnards in particular.

I not only saw jurgen klinsman

I watched Arjan de Zeeuw nearly kick his head clean off his shoulders.

He stooped for a header whilst De Zeeuw went for (and got) the ball with a high kick, with the result that Klinsmann's head and De Zeeuw's shin collided at very high speed. There was a crack audible from the stands and Klinsmann went down like a ton of bricks. He lay motionless for some time and was stretchered off.

    The diving *******.
