    Was on the books of Wolves back in the late 40's. Billy Liddel (Liverpool) once said he was one of the best Centre Halves he'd ever played against. Then he broke his thigh in a factory accident involving a lorry.</p>

    Could have been one of the best. And he's my Dad and I'm so proud of him.</p>
